Lets not forget about doubling up on ELLA/SNAP and NAPLAN, and a bunch of stuff which could have been specific to my school. I'm convinced it was because we were the last cohort to start school in the 20th century.

Not true HSCer '11, I did my HSC this year but since my school has Transition/Pre Kindergarten (preschool in a primary school), I did 14 years instead of 13 and I started in 1999. Depends on if you go to a weird private school with that new year group thing, or not.

As a student going into UWS next year, I personally will give the iPad to my mum. The iPad system will be like the laptops for the government schools and will be useless for those who won't use it for academic purposes.
