Personally i would love to have done philosophy... tsssk. i knew i should have been born a girl. But seriously, boys and philosophy dont mix. Especially marist boys. (yes, these are the people screaming outside the exam room today because it was windy.)

Oh and as much as i hate marist, your school is just as bad.

for yr 11 at pmh, this year there about 43 students doing 3u maths
there are 19 students doing 2u maths accelerated course

17 of those 19 students will be doing 4u maths next year

and that is just the accelerated people. which is a sh*t load of extension 2 students

Yeah accerated maths kids cained us in the trial for 2U. Some kid apprently got like 118/120 or something and the highest from our 3U classes was like 110.
Next years year 12 for maths will kick our collective ass'.
As for english, except for maybe 4 people our grade is shit. Next year seem just as shit but there letting kids have the option of genre or pomo for extension which i guess is a good thing.

Oh and the simple reason why mcauley have less girls doing 3U and 4U maths is because girls suck at maths. Except for super-nerds.

Oh and i know your grade is the best grade at mcauley currently. That said, theres not a great deal of competition. (IE. YRS 7-11 equals skank-whore-wannabe goth fest). And my strictness with uniform you mean making girls wear hats for the brief time they walk through the gates try coming to our school for a day, where you WILL be shot if your hair is too long (and i would know from personal experience), or your shoes are poliched, or your shirts not tucked in. etc^infinity. Its endless. Consider yourselves lucky.

And yeah our grade is marists best grade ever, especially compared to last years. Oh my, they sure were shit. OH and btw, asylum im jono from the music class below you guys (yeah the one that got axed by BP). You remember dont you?

Anyway enough typing, extension english tomorrow, the pressures on, the teachers have bribed me to do well to boost the otherwise dismal english performance which will undoubtedly be realised on the 18th of December.

Haha. Your entire 3U english class are filos, except like one. Whats going on there? And yeah the 4U maths teacher at our school sucks as well. Damn sucky school.
Im so happy. One more exam and then i never have to see PMH (or McAuley for that matter) ever again. woot.

I concur, Nagle is a shithole. OLMC is pretty good i hear though, my sister went there and its not that much further than going to Westmead. Selective schools are shit anyway, they deprive one of anything remotely cool and fun. Despite they immense number of dickheads at marist, the fact that their not all nerds made it a great learning experience. I had spite for my parents when they didnt send me to one (theyre very religious) but now i see it has made all the difference. I am now totally cool.

Just general discussion i guess. There doesnt tend to be too many marist posters though. Everyone seems to be in two categories,

1) Doesnt care about the HSC enough to sign up to post here, or,
2) Is too concerned with studying to e-socialise.

The only thing that equals win for phil is study. And getting 99+ UAI. Which i guess is fair enough. At least he doesnt do 4U maths though. Thats like, totally nerdarific. I just discovered i am stuffed for SOR. My last exam. So it wont feel so bad coming out of the exam room because at least itll all be over. However, i blame the school for not teaching us properly. Arseholes.
