I thought the paper was alright, I didn't really like the work and leisure question but it wasn't too bad.

Nah, good paper.

I got my pip back (not mark obviously) mmm my baby is home :)
yeh apparently ours came back to school a few weeks ago and our teacher told us just the other day

how many pages did everyone write?

i wrote 5 for popular culture and 6 for belief systems. I did rock and roll and buddhism.
i think i should've wrote more for the 8 marker. for the 4 marker i did nearly a page and then for the 8 marker i did a page and a half LOL

What options did everyone do?
I chose Belief Systems (a) about the impact of a belief system over time
and Equality & Difference (a) reducing inequality
I found it tricky to decide if I should talk about just my focus study or if I should have talked about many belief systems and many disdavantaged groups but I thought they were great questions, hated the (b) options though!

Did you all have four paged booklets too! I though our school was the only one haha

i did b) in popular culture and b) in belief systems.

that institutional power question for popular culture was the best. in class we did a generic essay on it already so it was very lucky it was in there,

belief systems the cultural heritage on gender roles question got me a bit, but i think i answered it ok

the whole paper was great! the westernisation question was the only one that had me just blabbering on about nothing.

Popular culture q. a) was so good! Allowed you to talk about everything really. And Equal. and Difference q. a) was also great! Very general.

It's over!! WOO! Burn tonight =D

yea i thought it was great!
i done both b) options in belief systems and equality and difference, as i figured i knew all this info in depth on ilsamic religion and indeginious inequality so i may as well use them..
i filled 2 booklets for each question. figured a mays well got over the top then not enough.

I diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid:

- pop culture: rock 'n roll
- equality and difference: I focused on abodiginals (zoolander, people!)

I only noticed the "westernisation is inevitable" question in the last half hour ahaha.

what social theory did you do? I did Karl Marx: conflict theory.
