This thread went WAYYY out of topic. Women not being able to drive or the more general 'women dont have rights' is a load of bullshit. These generalisations are not from islam itself but rather those fucken extremists and from cultural behavivour. And yes...it did start from Saudi Arabia, these men really tick me off when they treat their wives like this, not letting them out of the house etc etc, and i have even seen cases of this in sydney.

There is no islamic law that states that women are not allowed to drive, not allowed to roam the street and not allowed to do day to day chores. From my belief the islamic law states that women 'cannot be leaders', which sadly to say i oppose.
