This is what my parent see of the HSC... It is the essence to my life... if i fail it... well... I'm screwed for life and i wont be able to live... blah blah blah all those cliche crap.
But has any1 actually killed themselves for failing the HSC?
Does HSC really represent what you are?

P.S. Tell whatever you think to my parents and they reject it instantaneously... So i gave up trying to reason with them... the more i listen, the more braincell commits suicide.

As long as you've done your best - meaning you put all you had into it, no one can tell you that you've failed. If anyone tries to tell you otherwise, you have the right to tell them to stick it because it's your mark, and you should be proud of what you can achieve, no matter what it is.

The only downside to getting a bad ATAR as I see it, is the wasted time using the "back doors" to get into a course you could have gotten into first time around.

People I know have wanted to commit suicide for stuffing up, but it doesn't represent who you are.

An academic test does not have the right to define anyone. To allow something as meaningless as an exam this right is degrading.

No, just tell your parents to piss off... the HSC is nothing because there are so many ways into the workforce and into tertiary education apart from the an immcaulate atar.

If you fail the HSC then you've just wasted a year of your life and possibly more if you want to get into uni - nothing more.
