- Remember to stop before you leave the RTA - lots of people fail at the stop sign
- Fairfield is crowded no matter what time you go so there's gonna be heaps of traffic and people around --> this means that you should be patient. it's possible you won't leave the RTA until 10mins later (crazy traffic)
- If you're gonna do your test at this time, since they're rebuilding the station and introducing new traffic lights, it's gonna be a mess - im talking about pedestrians who might just randomly walk everywhere. Most routes require you to drive past the station, although there's a chance you might not need to.

tl;dr - test isnt hard - just very crowded and busy.

I passed at Fairfield a few weeks ago. It was pretty straight forward but I recommend you get a driving instructor for one or two lessons, they are able to teach you all the courses and you will have no hidden surprises.

- Be wary of the stop sign at the gate. Stop for three seconds, look for pedestrians on either side and move forward then stop again to look for cars then turn.
- All courses are fairly similar - remember when you get into CBD of Fairfield, the speed limit is 40km/h.
- Remember to headcheck whenever you can - you can never headcheck enough!
- Try to stay in the left lane as there are quite a few turns.

I think this point needs to emphasized if you are doing the test during peak hour. At times, there are people recklessly crossing the roads so you need to be very patient.
