Our school doesn't have alternating weeks.

We actually run a 6 day system, Day 1... 2 ......6

And basically, Thursday is always day 6 (sports day) and the rest of the time they rotate through 1 to 5.. Example

Week 1
Mon: Day 1
Tue: Day 2
Wed: Day 3
Thu: Day 6
Fri: Day 4

Week 2
Mon: Day 5
Tue: Day 1
Wed: Day 2
Thu: Day 6
Fri: Day 3

Week 3
Mon: Day 4
Tue: Day 5
Wed: Day 1
Thu: Day 6
Fri: Day 2

^^ woah that is some confusing sh*t. thank god i dont attend your school
It has its perks, for example: I have music lessons every tuesday during period 1 - therefore if we had a static timetable I wouldn't consistently miss the same subject, whereas as our school I would only miss about an hour of a subject per term, rather than 5 hours (or 2 lots of 2.5 hours) of another subject(s).

Still, pretty confusing stuff :( You just write every "Day" in your diary at the start of the term :p
