I love Naruto. One Piece is on channel ten now too... weird. I used Akira for HSC EE1, but my favourite anime film that i can think of right now is Blood: The Last Vampire.

The anime in Kill Bill Vol.1 wouldn't count... i don't think though. There's meant to be an entire anime volume or something coming soon.

EDIT: I hated Dragon Ball GT. Dragon Ball... okay, but Dragon Ball Z- Frieza Saga, Buu Saga the best.

Ghost in the Shell and Serial Experiments Lain - 2 of the a handful of anime that needs you to think or make you think.

Having said that; One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist is also good.

OMG i completely agree with you!!!!!!!! the dubbed version makes a complete mockery of what is actually a really good show.

You get points for great AWESOME.

Did you also watch Otome? Not quite as good, I don't think, but gives us an older HiME cast and some crazy new kids :D I have to resist making a Garderobe school uniform and wearing it around the place.

My favourite of all time... I really and truly adored Utena, for all its weirdness. Who can resist a TV series wherein the heroine's sword is pulled from the chest of her 'rose bride'? The film was even weirder and more fun, so an extra thumb up for that.
