The middle of it seemed to dip a bit for me. But the start and ending are amazing.
yer i was gonna say that as well; brilliant first 11 minutes..capturing just about every human emotion. But imo, yer, the beginning and the ending made up for the bland middle. Still some very funny scenes every now and then :haha:

brilliant first 11 minutes
Definitely.

I think the middle dipped because it seemed implausible. I could believe a floating house with balloons, but not a talking dog collar. I think 'We can accept the impossible, but not the improbable' definitely applies.

Top five:
  1. Michael
  2. Disney's the Hunchback of Notre Dame
  3. Gone With the Wind
  4. Toy Story
  5. Wuthering Heights
Other favourites:
  • One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
  • Grease
  • Disney's Pocahontas
  • Wall.E
  • Schindler's List
  • Marley and Me (I know it's a bit early to be saying that but I saw this movie a couple of days ago and it's absolutely beautiful)
  • About a Boy
  • Disney's the Lion King
Only the first five are in order. The rest are just there because I love them all quite dearly.
And I do so love Disney animation films. It seems childish but I think they're absolutely amazing.
Oh and Pixar rules. Definitely not a huge fan of Dreamworks animation.
Adding:
French Kiss
Star Wars series

12 Angry Men is a great one. Definitely has replay value as well.

Taxi Driver deserves a mention too.

oh dear god no.

i watched the third one and it was terrible. terrible acting and there was sex scene for crying out loud. the image of that woman's enormous breast being pushed against the glass coffee table is still fresh in my mind.
The sequels were crap, the first was very good.
