Fiddler on the Roof. The Lion King is pretty good too.

Lion King is great in terms of spectacle. However, as a stage version, it doesn't really improve anything upon the movie, apart from transferring it to the stage.

no! Defying Gravity is awesome, but doesn't justify all the hype the shows gotten.

I think it's good, but out of that list you've provided, I guarantee a much larger percentage of the audience would know Wicked and not those. Which I don't believe is justified,
