ok, i didnt do bio for the hsc, so im only presuming this is meant to go here...move if you want.
one of my friends is doing bio and needs help with these questions:

1. Compare and contrast external and internal fertilization, and discuss the relative success of these forms of fertilization in relation to the colonisation of terrestrial and aquatic environments.
2. Describe some mechanisms found in australian fauna to ensure fertilization, and the survival of the embryo and young after birth, and explain how the evolution of these reproductive adaptations has increased the chances of continuity of the species in the Australian Environment.

any help would be great (uni biology is so different to this stuff!!)

the external fertlisation one: organisms release many eggs/sperms so that there is a greater chance in fertilization. this is seen in coral spawning. they release thousands and thousands or eggs/sperm into the ocean
