FF7 Remake for PC (1 Viewer)

There are three new features listed on the official page at :
1. Achievements
2. Character Booster
3. Cloud Saves

I'm trying to figure out what's "new" per se. All I can see are achievements (yay you can show your FB friends presumably how good you are but really, is this going to be significant?), Character Booster (which sounds almost... like a cheat. Oh wait it is! I wonder if they'll even charge for it as a way to make money off noobs) and Cloud Saves (love the name and the usefulness of said feature but hardly noteworthy).

The specs seem a bit beefier than the original FF7 for PC which I had from ages ago... so I'm presuming there must be some graphical improvements.

I first got into FF when I watched Advent Children. I should play this game when it comes out.

I would probably check this out, but the idea of a "Character Booster" is bloody stupid.

Sounds like such a cop out. I actually realised I've lost interest in this already lol. I got about half way through FF8 when I tried to do it again on PSP.

There already is a PC version that is just a port of the PS version.

Last time I tried to play through I wiped my hard drive to install Linux on my old box, so can't really comment
