Hey all,

If any of you are interested in films, the Film Society is holding our first event this week - the official Launch Party at the Roundhouse on Friday. If you are members or are just interested in coming along to watch a movie, you're welcome.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Friday, March 10th from 6pm till late

WHERE: Cougar Bar at the Roundhouse

WHAT: Premiere movie "This is Spinal Tap"!
Pizza and alcohol for all!

You can also sign up as a member (only $5) and you'll receive a yr's membership (20 movies for the whole yr!) and a cool badge.

It's free for members and $5 to be a member. For $5, it's pretty good value as you're getting:

- 20 screenings for the yr
- a free badge (made to order if so wished)
- a sizable bar tab!

Uuuugh! Why did it have to be at 6:00? I would have loved to join, and to finally see 'This is Spinal Tap', but there's no way I'm waiting around Kensington for 7 hours, plus 2 hours back home after the movie to simply join a club. Oh well, too bad for me I guess. Are all movies held at this time?

Yeah, CineSoc is involved in movie production. We are holding some joint events with CineSoc, in particular an amatuer film nite. So stay tuned!

I just transferred and don't anyone from UNSW, hence why it would be dissapointing to meet non-UNSW students.
