Hey guys so I wondering if I could get a final atar estimate since I have just finished all my 3 trials exams. The first trial was a school made trial which was externally marked, the 2nd one was cssa and also externally marked and last trial exam was internally marked. Is a 99.9 possible?

School rank is normally 50s-60s

Chemistry: overall rank is 1/18. Trial 1 - 99/100 (1/18, 2nd was 97 and third was 89), trial 2 - 93/100 (1/18, 2nd was 87 and 3rd was 86), trial 3 - 98/100 (1/18, 2nd was 84 and 3rd was 82) normally gets around 3 band6s but most strong cohort for this subject school has had.

Physics: overall rank is 1/13. Trial 1 - 89/100 (3/18, 1st was 92 and second 91), trial 2 - 89/100 (1/18, 2nd was 86 and 3rd was 85), trial 3 - 93/100 (2/18, first was 94 and 3rd 88) 5 band 6s last year out of around 20 students

English: overall rank 1/39. Trial 1 - 90/105 (2/39, 1st was 94), trial 2 - 92/105 (1/39, tied first with next highest 82), trial 3 - 96/105 (1/39, 2nd was 92 and third was 89) normally around 10 band 6s

Business studies: Overall rank 1/70. Trial 1 - 87/100 (1/70, 2nd was 82), trial 2 - 97/100 (1/70, 2nd was 92 and 3rd was 87), trial 3 - 93/100 (1/70, 2nd was 91 and 3rd was 90) 20 b6s out of around 55 students

Mathematics: Overall rank 1/60 (school is very strong in 2 unit, 3 unit and 4 unit - was ranked 6th in the state) Trial 1 - didn't get counted lol some people cheated. Trial 2 - 99/100 (2/60, 1st was 100), Trial 3 - 98/100 (1/60, 2nd was 97 and 3rd 96) 32 band 6s out of 56 students last year

3 unit maths: overall rank 5/18 (fml screwed up half yearly lol but less than 1 mark off 3rd). Trial 1 - 56/70 (4/18, 1st was 60 very hard exam), trial 2 - 67/70 (tied2/18, 1st was 69), trial 3 - 65/70 (tied 1/18 with 3 other people) normally everyone apart from maybe 1 or 2 get a b6

Lol, your marks and ranks are pretty high. Are you at JR, SB, NSB, Baulko or Girra? And yeah, 99.9 is possible.

I go to a private school - parramatta Marist high school, but I wish I had gone to selective lol go into Penrith but was too far away from my home, but it worked out good for me in the end regardless

well you're 1st in 10units so 99.9 is very achievable as nobody can pull you down so you are guaranteed the highest external mark for your internals.. Essentially that means that your cohort cannot affect you unless they are pulling you up if they beat you.. But in order to get a 99.9 you'll need 95s + in all of your externals.. Goodluck mate and study hard haha

Oh ok thanks, do you reckon like I could get 93-94 in English maybe but still get 99.9 say if my maths was 99 or 100 because I did accelerated last year and got 96 but improved my rank a lot this year? Because English is a dodgy subject where anything could happen on the day if essays don't fit.
