8gb DDR3L
GTX 960m 4gb
1TB SSHD
4K touch screen display

So far so good. Definitely a lot more powerful than my i5 Surface Pro 4. The lack of SSD definitely feels a bit slower though despite the SSHD so I bought a Samsung 850 SSD m2 on the same day and fitted it easily to replace my boot drive.

Only played CSGO and Simcity (2013) but am enjoying it a lot. Love the big screen. Keyboard is a bit meh and the fans are noisy.

Interestingly it has a 5 year warranty but unsure if it's transferable to overseas should I move back to Sydney. Also waiting for firmware updates/confirmations of RAM support/cheaper RAM before I try and fit 24gb of ram.

What do you need 24gb of RAM for? Absolutely no need for that unless you like keeping stuff open. Max I would go is 16 GB and even that is generous .

Because I can.

Although I did read enough articles that anything beyond 8gb is overkill even under extreme circumstances so maybe not. I do like having loads of Chrome tabs open though.
