I've got an idea to base my PIP around my interest of video gaming, so far i have written on paper this idea

Sincce introduction of video gaming in the 80s and its surging popularity throughout the 90s to the current date, do kids of today lacck what previous generations experienced ?(such as our parents / grandparents)

I could look at things like what people did in past-times in previous generations as kids compared to what people from our generation did in their childhood pasttimes

I guess this is mainly subject to boys more than girls however

Any advice would be great, I only have a few days before school starts and my 5 minute PIP presentation is due haha.

I think its great that you have found a topic that you have an interest in, and are able to apply it to the PIP. Just a thought, I would suggest being a little bit more specific within your focus area and research, for example instead of saying '.....do kids of today lack what previous generations experienced', you could say '..do kids of today lack the socialisation of the last generation'..or something to that effect. That way you are narrowing this down to one particular area of research, such as the effect of gaming on socialisation, which stops your PIP getting to huge and unmanageable..but thats just my opinion anyway! :)

hey thanks for the advice man, i will take your advice and do that - the lacking of socialisation from the last generation.

i can gladly say this forum (other pip advice seekers threads) helped me to finally find a topic!
