Honestly, if you haven't seen or ever heard about this series, go and rent it, or better yet, BUY IT.

Watch it, then watch Serenity, the movie based off the series. You WON'T be disappointed.

and when you fall in love with serenity, which you will, you should BUY THE DVD (after its released on Feb 8 that is) because the dvd sales will contribute to the decision on making a sequel to the movie... so no downloading, buy buy buy!
