its usually not very exciting, last year they had meetings about moving into year 12 being mature etc. Then you get issued with timetables/diaries etc then go to class! yay. :uhhuh:

Work. We got the whole "you're year 12 now!" lecture in term 4, there's nothing else to add or do except hand out student diaries and timetables.

Enjoy your last few days - I have to go back today!!

Each school handles the first day differently but I always give my Year 12 students a quick quiz on what they did last term and I am sure that most of them will fail it (if any of you are reading this take note - it is next Wednesday last period).

We get a wrap up on the HSC results. "This year we got x number of premier award recipients!"

Then we'll get a lecture on how we're in year twelve.

Followed by getting timetables and diaries.

Then we'll be dispersed and school will resume :(!

Day 1: Study skills workshop.

By this, I mean of course a teacher standing up front for a few hours telling us how to make notes. :(

Pretty cool you get study workshops.

But it's the same for the rest of us, I guess. Just timetables, diaries, and then work. Blegh.
We start school Wednesday though, don't we?
I don't start until 9:30am! WOOHOO! And I have 2 long periods of Italian Cont. Then I get to go home at 12:20pm. Mwahaha. Fabulous :)

High-school meeting for 30mins, principal talks about our average results for 2007 in hsc, then talks about our new timetable system.
We break up into year groups, we get diaries + timetables
Recess
School begins ^^

It's fortunate if I can get a free diary and if I'm permitted to get a Train Pass. We'll have sport in the afternoon! So, first day: lectures in the morning + sports in the afternoon! LOLZ

We have to pay $9 for our diaries!! I hope it doesn't go up to $10 this year. They are such an absolute rip off and they're compulsory. Last year they gave them out without having to pay first, but they billed you at the end of the year. So they make you use them lol.. So evil!
You can get a travel pass if you live more than 2.5km or 3km away from the school.
