Hi, I was wondering if first person pronouns like 'I' and 'my' are allowed in Module B essays or not since the rubric wants personal response from you

Most of the time, people don't usually use first person pronouns in Module B essay because you are trying to argue with theessay question by either agreeing or disagreeing

If you read most Mod B essays, they don't usually use first person pronouns

When we mark English papers we will deduct marks if they write in first person unless asked something like ," How has your understanding of .... "? You are advised to write in first person in introduction and conclusion but use responders, audiences etc in the body paragraphs. don't forget every single essay you write is a personal response, you just express it differently. Only use first person if you are asked how has your understanding of ....?and use it sparingly

When writing essays in high school and uni, first person is generally avoided unless the question/teacher explicitly states that it is acceptable.
