First year commerce subject questions (1 Viewer)

I am taking four subjects and have some questions. Id appreciate if someone can answer them.

CLAW1001-Do we need the textbooks? is there a reader that we need to purchase?

BUSS1001-are there no textbooks at all for this subject?

BUSS1040-is the casestudy book necessary? is there a reader for this subject?

BUSS1030-is the textbook necessary? and also is there a reader for this subject?

claw1001 - the textbook exists for clarifying lecture content. if you get the lecture slides, i don't think you'll have much of a problem. for exams, all you have to know are principles and authorities - e.g. advertisements are generally treated as invitations to treat & not offers (carlill). you'll have to know how to apply these to exam questions.
buss1001 - no textbooks, yep, there's a $30~ course reader.
1040 - case study book isn't required. i bought all 3 books but i only ended up using the textbook + study guide. when it came to exam time, the study guide helped a bit but i mostly crammed the lecture slides. textbook is helpful for clarifying lecture content.
1030 - textbook is required, esp. if you haven't previously studied accounting. buy it new not second hand because you need unused myaccountinglab access codes to do the weekly online quizzes.
