First Year Timetables at USYD (1 Viewer)

Hey guys
I'm just wondering what the timetables are like for first years at usyd. I enrolled into vet science and they said we were going to get our timetables during orientation but is there any current usyd students that can tell me whether you get at least one day off?

I might also apply to commerce at usyd so may i just ask about the timetabling for that too? Also how intense is it?

Just put in the units you will be doing this semester and have a look at the times allocated for the different lecture and tute streams.

really? your have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. vet science is alot of work. your timetable will be pretty much 9-5 everyday of the week plus you will have heaps of study ontop of this. for a commerce degree you would go probably 2-4 days a week depending on if you get a good timetable or not.

HAHAHA i just happened to stumble across this thread! HIIIIIIIIIIII yeh basically what ben150891 said. vet science ain't gonna be easy and would require all your 5 days/week. The same goes for any science degree, I know i'm gonna be doing 5 days/wk as well for adv science so yeh. Go to link OzKo suggested and basically find your times and sort it into a table you don't have to worry about which class you're in (unlike me) because vet science is a "specialist" science and there's only 90 ppl so basically all of you are in the one class
and you want to combine with commerce? there's no such degree
P.S. we need to catch up XD

It's automatically generated but you can put different parameters to suit any occasions when you may be busy.

aww man 9 to 5 of uni everyday? =S that's worse than high school...

@pokka no i'm not combining commerce with vet...i would be killing myself >.< no i was trying to get into commerce for late round but i didnt get it.... =(
