Yes.

Make sure in your uac preference that you put down be/bsc as your actual choice.

On your enrolment day, you specify to the staff which stream of engineering you wish to do (eg FFY, civil, mechanical). You must get both the be/bsc ATAR and the specific atar for the stream of engineering you choose. It is not likely that the FFY cut off is higher than the be bsc cut off, so it is unlikely that you have issues there.

You would also have to meet any additional criteria requid for entry (and continued enrolment) in the advance science.

Thanks!

Just a couple more things, please:

1) Flexible First Year is counted towards the final degree right?
2) Can I change to a specific stream at any point during the year?
3) Can I use the ATAR I received in 2013 to choose the course I want to enter in 2015 or do I have to use Uni results during the FFY? e.g. I got 98.4 as my ATAR - if that passes the cut off for the engineering course I want to get into after FFY, do I get in?

Thanks so much in advance!
