wouldnt the scaled mark = alligned mark?
like, cause if i get a scaled mark of like 95, isnt above 90 band 6 regardless?

Not necessary.

There are subjects where you are scaled quite horribly that your aligned marks can be totally different to your scaled marks.

For example, aligned mark of 90 in Mathematics Extension 2 would not be 90 as in scaled mark. It is more like 94 scaled mark due to its extremely high scaling.
