Not with a good finance job. None of this really matters. I honestly think they'd take someone with an arts degree if they had the right skills (though unlikely).
All this ATAR talk about how one cutoff is higher and whether they draw implications from this sounds like bullshit.
Though if you say you did B Comm which you disliked because you thought it would make you more hire-able rather than a B Eco which you thought you would have enjoyed more, that might be a bad thing.
