Foreign films/ subtitles affecting quotes (1 Viewer)

The copy of a film I'm using as related text has slightly different subtitles to the version I saw on sbs. I asked my teacher about this, and he said to make note of it somewhere in the essay that some of the wording may have been lost because of translation.

My question is, how do I do this? Should I add it into the intro, add a note on the end or have it as a footnote?

When you first introduce the text, you could say [Film] by [director] (in language X with English subtitles), and that should cover it. I can't imagine it being a particularly big deal, given that 90% of the time, the subtitles and what's being said don't actually match up, but they both get across the same message.
