Freehand Drawing (1 Viewer)

Howdy,
Im a little unsure as to exactly what examiners term as "freehand" when it comes to drawing.
Does it include compass, ruler, protractor etc? or is it only pencil and you.

Take it to mean "at least freehand". Our teacher said that when he did eng studies at school, they had 2 x 2 hour exams. One was mathematical stuff, the other you had to have a drawing board, T square, set squares, etc. Basically it's just to give you the option.

If you want to know the extent that they want answers too have a look at the standards package for each subject.

They show sample band 1 to 6 answers and then a top of the range ie full marks answer.
The standard of the drawings is actually quite poor if you actually look at them.

Basically, as long as you include all the essential features and have close enough resemblance to the right dimensions, you will be fine. They understand that its freehand and if its a little wobbly they wont care. If you cant draw a straight line with out a ruler, buy a ruler.

My teacher said for freehand all you need is a pencil,a rubber and ruler to measure out the points and plot them but not to draw the line
