NO3 and PO4 contribute to eutrophication.

do we need to know, how to actually get rid of them from the water sample? if so, how?

I think that's beyond the syllabus.

Just know the effects of eutrophication, how it happens, how to detect it etc.

hmm.. i wouldnt specifically talk about hwo to remove them, since it comes under the purification process..

But monitoring yes,
N:p ratio 10:1 etc...
also monitoring using ppt
