yeh well im kinda confused, some ppl have offers already and others such as myself havnt... i'm kinda worried about actually accepting the offer from ANU just yet, incase i dont get any accomodation. but i guess that wont happen since i qaulify for the accom guarantee.

has anyone accepted the ANU offer to study without being made an accom offer?

Yeah, accept any offer that you get before it lapses and if it doesn't work out then apply later for something else. Although, chances are that it will work out because of the guarantee thing anyway :D

Don't worry they will sort it out. Just check that online thing, you email inbox and junk emails. If you apply for the guarantee then there shouldn;t be a problem. If you havent recieved an intial offer already then i would call them tomorrow morning (9am would do, because no uni student would be up that early)

There is an ATM in the foyer which dispenses a maximum of $200 in $20 notes each “hit”.
Are there any specific combinations of notes that can be withdrawn?

Where your allocated room is found to be in an unacceptable condition it may be cleaned by Housekeeping staff and a minimum of $50.00 cleaning fee imposed. Repeat offenders may have to show cause why they should remain at the College.
Just how unacceptable is 'unnacceptable'?

"bodily fluids"/vomit on the floor etc - they expect you to clean those sort of things up yourself. They will give you that "bodily fluid powder" stuff though. Some of the cleaners get a bit ancy if you leave the floor covered in mess, but thats not really a(n) health issue (so you won't get fined for that).

If you want your privacy or your room is shit and you dont want to see the cleaners that week, just write "no clean today thanks" and they won't come in.

B&G o-Week

The week of all weeks for college life! Featuring old favourites and new adventures, get your costume thinking hat on and get excited for O Week 08!

SATURDAY 16TH
- Ressies move back in!
- First Year Night in Function Rooms. Featuring games, BAGMA introductions, trivia, and the grouping of first years.
(Later Years are welcome to get maggot in the bar, or reunite without alcohol if that's your thing)

SUNDAY 17TH
- Breakfast and pots & pans sale
- Scav hunt/tour of Civic
- Drag N Diva Night! One of the most highly acclaimed nights of B&G O Week. Dress in anything bright, shiny, tight, short, skimpy, sequined, flimsy and provocative and be prepared for boys in skirts... And plenty of them.

MONDAY 18TH
- Green Workshops
- Bike Co-op Membership Evening early in the night - free bikes with membership as well as cheap locks etc and questions answered.
- Trashin' Fashion Evening! Environmentally friendly fun with environmentally friendly (or unfriendly, if you want to be snide) costumes.

TUESDAY 19TH
- Basic cooking & hygiene classes
- Multicultural Night - for delicious foods, cultural entertainment and perhaps a more relaxing night for some.

WEDNESDAY 20TH
- Early walk up Black Mountain and breakfast
- B&G Market Day, along with ANUSA Market Day on campus
- One on one debating
- Toga Night! Another pleaser, come dressed in all your ancient Greek and Roman glory for toga fun.

THURSDAY 21ST
- Arts Afternoon
- Academic skills sessions
- RSL/Occa night - purely bogan Australian entertainment. Think stubbies, wifebeaters and mullets (haircut not actually required, you can think about it and leave it at that). Bingo, meat raffles and bush dancing are rumoured to feature.

FRIDAY 22ND
- Inter-hall social sports
- Classy Night/Seven Deadly Sins. A chance to frock up in your Sunday best for a (hopefully) less debaucherous evening of style and glamour.

SATURDAY 23RD
- Speaker in the bar
- Trivia & Arts Night - organised by our very own Arts Reps.

SUNDAY 24TH
- Library afternoon
- Pyjama Party! Wind down after a hectic week with pyjamas, popcorn, new friends and movies in the Function Rooms.
