I wouldnt say it is fragile, well apart from the screen obviously. I played with one of these when i was in Japan and it feels quite solid all round.

Anyway if you just want games then go with the DS. If your willing to get a 512 or 1 gig mem stick and use the psp for games, mp3, video, picture storage, browsing and in the future use it is a scaled down pda then PSP is the way to go. Not to mention the PSP has PS2 quality graphics, but the battery life is "poor"(3 to 6 hours depending on game)

Well the PSP isn't even out in Australia yet. On that note, why purchase Gameboy Advance? The Nintendo DS has been out for quite some time and even supports advanced games.

I've owned an Advance and now own a DS, I have to say the DS is quite an experience. Not to say I won't purchase the PSP.

fuck i want the PSP, it beats the DS by millions

but i like some DS games, because they are like kiddy types

yeh i reckon nintendo still only makes makes that are for yuonger people. while playstation likes to include more violent and more adult games

PSP is for a different market obviously. Yeah i some some guy on the train last night playing ridge racer, it looked awesome. he then played an episode of lost on it and it was like watching it on a plasma tv quality wise. Cant wait for mine to come.

I have Ridge Racer now......its awsome! The graphics on the psp blow you away.

And the PSP library is vast as basically all games on ps2 can be easily be transferred to umd format by sony. So expect many games when its launched here.

Believe me, having used both the PSP is a clear and decisive winner.

also their games are more expensive and the system cost way more than the DS

whereas the DS offers new experience in gmaing with it's innovative touchscreen, microphone, dual screens, online play, etc
plus nintendo's games are fun
