So yeah anybody ever done a gap year in Whistler?
I'd love to hear as I am seriously thinking of doing it.

i've been thinking of doing it too, but it hard for people taking a gap year and then starting uni because it starts in the middle of their snow season and they usually have 4-6 month working contracts. so you might have trouble getting a job at that time. they dont like hiring them coz they lose uni students half way through the season when they go back home to start uni

yeah you usually have to be there nov-may. i know whistler doesn't do shorter contracts so they don't hire current uni students only people on full gap years or graduates who can stay the full season. my friend working there atm if you have any questions.
