At least your not the only one. Majority of the students are failing this subject in which the 2 Unit people always make fun of us General students.

I did general last year and was told it scaled down...my school/average mark was about 85 but my final hsc mark was 94.

Definitely recommend using past papers as practice.

I think some topics are very challenging but it's true practice makes it perfect So if I don't get something I go over my notes then do as many exercises as possible. It really works.

i dropped from 2 unit to general about 1 term into year 12
and am currently 1st in general on 98
its really not that hard!

oohk well i have to catch up on all the work that theyve done for the prelims

Its cause 2 unit maths stuff is really different to the maths stuff in general. But I guess most of the ex 2 unit students are always ranked in the top 10 or something.

yea it is really different
sometimes when i do a question, i think too logically, when all i need to do is think more generally!
but yea my teacher said some people just keeping failing behind in general even though they were from 2u

I think overall I'm probably coming 2nd to 4th. Came first in trials with 73% which is pretty low. It's really just a matter of practicing and reading the question.
