This paper was fucking shit, it had barely and algebra and trig. I shouldn't have dropped from 2 unit. I swear the paper had more than 30% yr 11 in it which sucks coz i didn't do any of the yr 11 general course.

Paper was shit ( like no trig or any decent algebra)

Fuck u BOS :burn:

I didn't get Simpsons rule 28) b)i

Find an expression for the area of the cross-section using TWO applications of Simpsons rule?

Is that just saying use Simpsons rule twice to get the area? O_O

OH CRAP
i did 2(h/3 (0 + 4a+b))

did any1 else do that?

You needed to use the cosine rule to find the width from 2 bottom corners on the cheese slice. There were 4 pieces of cheese all touching at the corners therefor you then had to multiply the side found by 4.

The answer was indeed 41.04

The other 2 sides were pretty straight forward.

The height was just the radius of the cheese wheel = 15cm

The width was the 3 times the width of the cheese block
1 = 7cm
3 = 21cm

Any other problems with the paper?

The only one I wasn't sure about was
28. b) i)
Find an expression for the area of the cross-section using TWO applications of the Simpson's rule.

I just wrote out the formula twice lol

h/3(4a+b)
h/3(4a+b)

then talked about how they needed to be added together?

What did other people get? Am I wrong?

I had like 20 minutes left at the end of the exam, after I checked it and everything and went through my paper and wrote in all my answers into my question book before I left so I can check and see what mark I got. Pretty sure its +95 WOO!
