i got like 0.22, with sig figs was 0.2 so ok to eat ^_^

it wasnt 0.17 because that was in like mg/L whilst you had to find mg/kg

there had to be come tricky as hell calculations, given the space provided
I spent about a page trying to solve otherwise. But mg/L is in ppm and mg/kg is also in ppm. I think it may have been a troll question...

Hg concentration was approx. 0.228...mg/kg, less than 0.5 therefore he could eat it :)

i said they can eat in, i got like 0.12 or 0.15 mg/kg (cant remember exact)

Gahh, I got that answer in one calculation. But it just wouldn't make sense...

EDIT: It is 0.23 mg/kg. I. Crossed. It. Out. Because. I'm. Stupid.

Hey, somehow I got 2450 for K, since the number of moles changed from 0 to 0.198 for Nitrogen, Hydrogen would have the same concentration since they are in equal amounts in the equation. Since that adds up to 0.396 there would have been 0.004 moles left of NO thus i got 0.198^2/0.004^2.

That was according to the Intu/ icebox method wasn't it? No one else seemed to get the same answer despite that method being valid...

Yehh i got that answer too, as did the 4 other top students from my school... but no one else seemed to get it ..? :S
