Overall I thought it was quite an easy exam. Questions I struggled with was finding 'D' in the projectile motion question (although I think I will get 2/3), the circle locus of Q(which I also think I will get 2/3 as I nearlly solved it using QS=OS), the 2nd part of the circle geometry question and of course the last question (what the hell was that?). I think I'll get about 90%.

Freaking last question. I damn the last question. So easy to do yet so difficult to understand

It looked like one of the easier papers. Q12e) was quite a good one because you have to understand the mechanism of Newton's method rather than blindly apply the formula.

I saw that. But didn't use that. Exam nerves got me algebraiiiing.

Quite a nice test. For 13ciii), I let (0, 2a) be S' and found gradient QS', which was -1/t
QS' x OQ = -1 therefore OS' diameter (subtending 90 degrees at circumference) on circle x^2 + (y-a)^2 = a^2
Does that sound legit?
