@everyone: PS. don't trust your myunsw timetable, check timetable.unsw.edu.au for when your classes start.
MyUNSW and timetable.unsw.edu.au both tell me i only have lectures from week 2 onwards for one of my subs, email from them say otherwise

Foundation Day email:

"It's that time of year where we recognise that UNSW is pretty much
the best university in the world."

That alone says enough.
ahahahahahaa.

The Australian Red Cross Blood Service is collecting blood at UNSW:

Roundhouse, Level 1, Wurth and Drawing Rooms

Monday 28 July - Thursday 30 July, 10am - 4pm
Friday 31 July, 10am - 3:30pm

Over winter and until the end of September Australia needs more than 40,000 new blood donors to ensure there is enough blood and blood products to help people in need.

Amongst those you can help are the 220,000 Australians who receive a burn injury every year. 10% will need hospital treatment and it is estimated that 5,000 Australians will need blood or a blood product to treat their injury.

Do something special this winter. Give blood.
Has anyone ever given blood on campus?
Don't want to lose too much time.

boring, pointless.

Tuesday consisted of 3 x 2hr lectures, elec/fluid/math, elec was boring, first half was all admin stuff, second half was elec stuff, i learnt a bit actually.
Fluid was first half admin, second half fluid stuff, i can tell this is gonna be a hard course, uncle will get me thru it :) and math was first quarter admin and rest all math, but really easy stuff.

Yesterday's elec lab safety lecture was insanely boring "dont electrocute yourself or you will die etc", literally had to force myself to not sleep, while the guy next to me and behind me actually slept. Im sure uncle fell asleep too.

Fun, useful.

A good way to ease back into uni, it helped me decide a couple of things.
