In order to accommodate the proposed number of exams in a 3 exam per day
schedule, exams in June 2008 will be scheduled Monday to Thursday as
follows:

Morning 08:45 - 12:00 (3 hour examinations)
Afternoon 13:45 - 16:00 (2 hour examinations)
Evening 17:45 - 20:00 (2 hour examinations)

Examinations on Fridays will be scheduled:

Morning 08:45 - 12:00
Afternoon 13:45 - 16:00

Examinations on Saturdays will be scheduled:

Morning 08:45 - 12:00
Afternoon 13:45 - 17:00

Saturday and evening examinations will be held at Randwick Racecourse;
the University is currently negotiating appropriate security and
transport options for the safety and convenience of students.

Sucks if you have a morning exam and then a night exam. I can never get much done right before the exam. I guess you could walk back to uni and go to the library.

i thought there were no more 3 hour exams?
Looks like they changed their mind. I don't mind, especially considering that most of mine are going to be 3 hours and the 3 hour exams are only in the morning. I much prefer morning exams.

i feel soo sorry for anyone who is having their exams at night. i think it is a deadset outrage. if you are not expected to work at night, why should anyone be sitting their exam at night? do we get penalty rates/marks for the night exams? it is disgusting.

According to the professors in BABS, all of the 3rd Year courses will remain as 3 hour courses as they have been in the past decade. They argued with the Examinations board and won. :burn:

Seriously the people who've completed their undergrad degrees at this uni last year are so darn lucky!

Morning exams are waay better! This way you don't need to think of what to study while eating lunch! I have to admit though, I like how UNSW now has the rule where you dont need to do 2 exams in one day.

its a max of 2 a day i think. 3 would be just shit house, apart from the fact your exam period could be as short as 1 day haha.

I'd rather get the exam over and done with, if you have a short sleep you don't get tired till like 3-4pm anyway.

Finally, looks like the long lines in the mornings are getting shorter, maybe it's the weather
