Just finished and marked the second mid-semester exam, did okay in it, hopefully I do a bit better in the actual exam!

Huratio - how close are the practice papers to the actual exam questions? Are they similar in difficulty? I've been getting 32 or 34 out of 40 for them doing them in exam conditions and was wondering if I'd be able to replicate that (or better!) in the exam.
They are very similar in difficulty. I remember doing them, and some of them were the same question.. and some had little things changed around.
If you are getting those kind of marks, then you should be fine for the exam =)

Do they still give out orange summary sheets every tutorial?
I remember using them as an outline for my study notes..

Nope we don't get summary sheets, that would be good though

I did Contracts at UTS. I didnt really pay much attention but I enjoyed the course.

However I did Torts at MQ and I loved it. There are some good Torts notes on this site I think. My friend used them.

I may see you in Perspectives Malfoy if I do transfer over.

Re: The UTS 'Secks and omg it is Week 7 now right?!' Thread

I did the multiple choice mid sem in 2005.

I think it is a similiar test.

What I found was
(a) a lot of reading
(b) not very hard
(c) it was based not on the right answer but the most suitable answer.

This means that there is more than 1 correct answer but one answer is better than the other.

I think I scored 36.5/40

Haha haven't logged into BOS in ages, I think when I did it in 05 it was out of 35 as well, got about 31-32 from memory. I remember Bus Law being one of the easiest subs ive ever done at uni.

Promoting Westpac?

Ours was 35 questions and a little fiddly (and yes, lots of reading!). I made one or two dumb mistakes and so I should have done better than I did!

I got 31 out of 35, which is about 89%. Hopefully I can replicate that in Economics and/or Accounting.
Yeah.. I remember getting around 31-32 out of 35 too.
2 of them were silly mistakes too =(

Back to study... =\

BLE was heaps of fun. I had this Asian lady Sandi Rahaju and she is probably the best tutor I have had at uni. She was little but intimidated so many people. It was really funny.

People found BLE really hard especially those who are numerical by nature. I found it rather easy because I am conceptual/theoretical by nature. The biggest hint is for the final is take in your lecture notes and use tags. You can easily refer to it and do well.

I got 83. I hate the few marks off the next grade. Oh well.

I will be at UTS next semester 90%. Looking forward to it!

I didn't use my books that much in the BLE final exam.. there were are alot of questions and not alot of time to do them in..

How did you go in MPO maka? MPO is like the most theoretical core business subject.

I got 54% in the first essay. First ever assessment in uni.

I think I got a high D or a low HD as a final grade.

PS: I am coming back to UTS hopefully next semester. Finish my HRM major and do LLB

Yeah hopefully I can do a UTS B Bus/LLB mid year transfer.

I only have between 1-3 BBus subjects left. Then about 3 sems of Law to do.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to practice as a solicitor by mid 2010. Sounds so far away when it is pretty close. Hahaha

this may sound random but is there any other microwaves [or maybe kettles?] on campus other than the one near that refreshment centre in tower building?
