So in my school if you don't attend school the day before a test, you get 0. I have no problem with that, it IS kinda unfair if people stay home to study the day before a test.
But here's the stupid part: so we have a English test first day back in school. And here's the problem, apparently the last day of school counts as the "day before a test". So anyone that didn't go to school today (which is like half the grade) gets 0 for the test first day back, UNLESS they get a medical certificate.
I went to school today, so it wasn't really my problem (I had a physics project to hand in anyway). But some of us ditched the last period of school, which happened to be English. The English department called, and apparently we're getting zero as well. Did they think we didn't attend school at all? What to do?
By the way, I don't want to say what school, but we're ranked top 10 HSC. And now half the grade is getting zero for a English test LOL.
