i know, and even for those who have the 1-4 box sets, they've changed the way season 5 is boxed, so it still looks out of sorts. You'd think the dvd world would recognise us collector nerds! haha

I have all seasons in Region 1 so they're all nicely boxed. Australian packaging is so ugly but then again, I paid a small fortune for my 5 box sets before they were released in Australia cos I'm such a Gg addict

i bought season 3 and 4 at kmart today for 24.99 each and im absolutely loving it..ahhaha now i just want season 5 price to go down

my whole family watch Gg, except my dad, so we have all the boxed sets, region 1, and we r downloading season 7 as its aired in America, but they r have holidays so they r not on again till the23rd... :mad1:

They are EVERYWHERE. Target, Big W, K Mart, JB HI FI etc

Go to JB hifi. Look in the bargain bins and they group together teen shows like Gg, OC, One Tree Hill and they're all reallly cheap. Crappy packing but that's region 4 for ya.

OMG REALLY? damm....ive been to jb a couple of times...but they don't have it. Ok, ive just looked in the tv dvd section not the bargain bin. I'll do that next time.

*sigh* i got seasons 1 and 2 for $46.72 each earlier in the yr and just recently got 3 and 4 for $24.99 each. I feel ripped off now cos there are boxed sets.

I don't understand what region 1 and 4 mean, can someone please explain

also, Can someone tell me how many seasons there are in a boxed set and how much is the set?

regions one and four are about dvd encoding - Region 1 is the US and Region 4 is australia (2 is UK/Europe etc). If youhave a multi-region player - or a modified player - then you can play any dvd, but generally speaking Aussie DVD players use region 4, which all the shops sell

there's one season per set (approx 22 eps) - some still come in boxes, others just the ammoray cases - it's the luck of the draw nowadays.

i hate the xmas break for tv - no GG or veronica mars til jan

I think the prices have gone back up - I got 1, 2, 4 for $24.99 earlier this year - they didn't have Season 3. Saw it in the shops today for $54.99 along with One Tree Hill. Sigh.

Good think I have Foxtel I guess.

yeah same, i bought it in the states when I was there last. It takes ages for us to get them here. You can always order them online thru amazon.com or something similar.
