If I applied for another job and got through or got through the interview for a GJs franchise store and transfered from the GJs corporate store to the franchise, how much notice would I need to give/have given to my manager/supervisor?

2 weeks is a fairly standard notice period

Make sure to give 2 weeks written notice otherwise the company can screw you over a bit.

Would it be alright if I e-mailed my manager my resignation? She's never in when I am or ever, because she manages more than one corporate store (mine being one of them).

Is 2 weeks notice mandatory for a casual employee?

i think technically casual employees only need to give like an hours notice or something, but i'd go with at least a week to be safe.

I gave two weeks leave when i said i couldn't take the job next term. Actually for both my jobs haha.

Uni is busier than you could imagine.

That being said, coffee places look like pretty awsm places (there's many hawt girls, and guys ) i wouldn't mind a job like that if it was at uni
