Also forgot to mention The Grounds of Alexandra
That place is the fucking good.... i went there twice.....

Also decent resturants would be mamak, paparich and a decent vietnamese resturant in chatswood (forgot the name tho)

My top 2 recommendations considering the quality of the food and prices would be -

* Bundu Khan - Harris Park - http://bundukhanharrispark.com/menu

* Temasek - Parammatta - no website

Both are well reputed as well! Definitely check them out! :)

omg go to Chatkazz in Harris Park, it's always so busy there especially on weekends. It's legit the best. They have the best Mango Lassi and the best Indian snack food.

I'd definitely recommend The Good Kitchen in Hurstville.
It's more like a family cuisine than a restaurant though.
Hong Kong styled food; the seafood rice is great and one plate and fill at least two adults!
The red bean ice drink is also pretty good.
The price is definitely under $50.
They have daily deals which include soup, some drinks and of course the main dish.
They sell breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner.
And with the daily deals, you can get roasted bread to dip into soup.

I'd go with grounds of Alexandria if they haven't been before as its a pretty safe bet and food options are great. It's also nice to wander around. You'll be looking at $30 per person for main and a non alcoholic beverage, or $40 with some sides.
