Hotel Rwanda - Schindler-esque true story about a Hutu man trying to protect Tutsi Rwandans as the Hutus attempt to wipe out all Tutsis, whilst the world watches on and the UN does sweet fuck all of any use as usual.

also watched Mongol the other day, about Genghis Khan's youth and what made him into the badarse that he was. Good stuff.

I thought Hotel Rwanda was great but no where near as powerful and therefore good as Schindler's List.

I had some interest in watching Mongol, how was it?

Hotel Rwanda certainly isn't a masterpiece on the level of Schindler's, but the fact it occured only 14 years ago made its relevancy pretty potent for me.

I found Mongol to be pretty good. Didn't leave me with any real lasting impression, but the story is great and the quality of the film and performances is worthy of your time i reckon.
