Modern doesn't scale extremely well, but it does scale quite nicely - around the same as physics/chemistry

Im heading into year 11 next year, and im kind of confused on the scaling thing. I know that some subjects scale you up, and some scale you down.

Do the following subjects scale up or down, and which ones scale the best.

Chemistry
Physics
English Advanced
English extension 1
Information Technology (VET)
Software Design and Development
Legal Studies
Economics
Mathematics

I'm interested in all these subjects (except for maths) and perform well in all of them, just interested if some are worth doing more because of their scaling...
Thanks in advance.

4u maths is the same scalling as Genral maths
VET I.T isnt a good scaller its scales you down relly bad
followed by legal
others are goddd:):)

I'm not sure how you figure general math and 4u scale the same? If you do 4u you get an assumed band 6 for 2u, plus a quick look at the 2007 scaling table someone else linked to (http://www.uac.edu.au/pubs/pdf/2007_table_A3.pdf)will show you that one is scaled down (a lot) and the other is scaled up.
