You can't blame everything on BETA, that's just not perpetrating for their problems first of all they haven't provided a fix or taken off the download, these are risky security issues we are talking about, furthermore, Google is one of the strangest companies to release every product in Public BETA mode, if they haven't realised half the population of users are idiots enought o use a BETA product and think that it's final. They should release products which have a potential security risk to a closed and private BETA group.

nah, the larger the user group the faster bugs will be found and ironed out

Yes of course that's true, but they should be creating a private BETA program which is targetting against people with a technical mind, not the average joe blow user. It's stupid, they know half the users on the internet are n00bs who think trying out BETA software renders them being cool.
