are you wanting to do it for money or for both your benefits? And is it out of or in school?

*Don't make any assumptions regarding their abilities
* Be very very patient
* Don't over or under praise
* Use a whiteboard/pens
* Even if the person appears to 'get it' ask them to complete another 1 or 2 examples to concrete it further (make sure them getting it right wasn't a fluke or lucky guess)

do you really want to be tutoring this year though?

It'll be a lot to take on, but if you're up for it then cool :)

Probably a bit late but just make sure you stay organised, Keep a good record of everything down to what homework your asking them to do to what exams they have coming up, etc.

The kids will love it if you have stuff prepared for them before the lesson too but that's totally up to the dynamic of what you're after.

I actually also started tutoring when I was in Year 11 so it's honestly just up to what you're ready to commit to. Don't be nervous but always consider whether your willing to put the time in for it.

If you need any other tips just pm me :)
