on wall st they round salary down to the nearest 50k. So a Sydney big 4 starting salary gets rounded down to zero lol

Though its pretty safe to say that you can't reach certain grades (and certain salaries) without qualification...

At my firm anyway there's more or less a bottleneck of senior accountants that are ready to be promoted to manager but are required to finish their CA (and essentially get promoted soon after they've qualified)..

Still sucks versus say the UK, where AFAIK they get a bit of a fat bonus for qualifying.

Agreed:

Phill Collin's solo efforts seem to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way, especially songs like "In the Air Tonight" and "Against All Odds." Sabrina, don't just stare at it. Eat it.

Twas great thanks, the people were friendly and the drinks were flowing- what more could one ask for?

Hehe I sent off my contract last Thursday so that was pretty sweet.
