Just wondering what does the graphy

look like?

1. draw the nomal graph of x-1 and ignore the part which is in the negative side,
2. reflect the part in the positive side in the negative side,.

so it will look something like this

iwas thinking that but u said to flip positive to negative or I misinterpret it

not both, only the parts in the positive side in the original graph x-1.
so original graph of x-1 will look like /
and if you lyl, then you reflect the positive part from the original graph, so it would look like <
