Hey all you guitarists there is prob other threads about the same thing but i was wondering since hsc music1 core and electives is next week (for my school anyway) what performance songs other people are doing and the reason why you chose it.(if you have one)

Personally i am performing:

"Cowboys From Hell - Pantera" - Perf. core

"5 Minutes Alone - Pantera" - Elective 3

Oh and I chose these songs to show technical skill but wasnt going to attempt (and fail at) something say by Steve Vai or Racer X

I don't know if it's too late for you, but those Pantera songs probably aren't such a great idea as they lack dynamic range. Anyway, I'm looking at doing Pull Me Under - Dream Theater Starry Night - Joe Satriani and possibly Midnight - Joe Satriani
