would anyone at all be able to send me any analysis they have done on Hairspray and how it relates to belonging.

WTF is Hairspray? If it's a related text, you should choose another one. Related texts should be chosen on your ability to analyse them, with relation to belonging, and then link it to your core text. If you can't analyse it (as seen by your post above), it is clearly not the related text for you, as you will do it crappily. It's better to do an 'easier' related text, but analyse it well, rather than a 'harder' related text, but have no fucking idea what you're talkinga bout.

I wouldn't use it anyway because heaps of other people in the state would be picking Hairspray as their related text.
