Oh, and I found out that a dumbass got first in Maths, Maths Ext1 and Physics...This is the same kid who came ever so close to failing SC maths...WTF mate?

I also have a question, does the person who gets rank 1 in a class automatically get the highest mark in the final exam?
He pulled his finger out and worked hard, and you're calling him a dumbarse? He worked harder than you and deserved it - calling him a dumbarse doesn't work well.

Say your external mark is 80. Say you're ranked 1st internally. Say someobdy else gets 90 externally. Your mark is (80+90)/2=85. That's a basic version.

Anyway, my marks:

Adv English: 2nd
2u maths: 3rd
3u maths: 1st
4u maths: 1st
SDD: 1st
Chemistry: 3rd
Studies of Religion: 18th

As you can see by the mark discrepancy, I essentially don't do 2u maths. I'm forced to take the test, but I usually get bored within an hour. Maybe I should do 2u. I suck at 4u.

I can't get mine for about 2-3 weeks, when my school has parent/teacher interviews! I'm not exactly looking forward to it! :uhhuh: :)

Ugh, I'm pissed off about my marks; I should've done way better. I went through all my tests and I've just gone *FACEPALMFACEPALMFACEPALM*

English: 44/45 - 1st
English Extension 1 - Dunno.
Engish Extension 2 - Dunno.
Maths: 84/105 - (Top 5)
Legal Studies - 81/82 - 1st
Modern History - 61.5/64 - 4th (I lost by essentially 1/4% but I'm still suicidal)
Drama - Dunno.

You lunatic...

I got seriously fucked over by my results... I studied quite hard and was expecting to do a whole lot better than I did, specially in chem. I answered every question and got similar marks to people who left out like half the paper. :( Not too good for my self-esteem there.

I think they do mark them really hard though, dunno why. Ah well, at least I know now that no matter how hard I work I'll still get mostly the same results, so I don't have to work as hard as I have been.

Don't jump to conclusions. Statistically in the past the board's target audience has done well above average compared to the rest of the state. A generalisation of course, but it explains the skew towards high rankings you are seeing.
